The starting point
Find the thread that connects it.
Experience across operations, software, teaching, and service needed a coherent introduction. The website had to help someone understand the connection, see evidence of the work, and find a useful reason to start a conversation.
My role Positioning, messaging hierarchy, content architecture, visual identity, and design and development.
Inside the work
Three decisions that shape the experience.
Lead with a useful through line.
“Make complicated work move” connects the different disciplines. A short introduction explains the approach before visitors encounter the fuller work history.
Put evidence beside the introduction.
Selected projects link to live websites and source code. Clear descriptions explain what each project does, while the experience section supplies the professional background.
Give the professional site a personal identity.
A canyon portrait, restrained color, and editorial typography make the introduction recognizable. Direct navigation gives work, experience, approach, and contact their own places.
Designed for smaller screens
A focused introduction on any screen.
The mobile layout brings the introduction and next actions into a single column. A compact menu keeps the same sections within reach, while text and imagery adapt to the available width.
